April 28, 2014 Tornadic day for Oklahoma

Well the season has started off with a whisper for severe storms until we finally caught a break on this day.  Everything was in place, but the cells were slow to explode.  I followed a few cells into Rogers county only to be taken by surprise of a tornado dropping down in Quapaw, Oklahoma and traveled into Baxter Springs, Kansas.  I was too far out of position to make it to the storm in time, but one of our chasers from News8 David Gaede was right on its tail following the aftermath.
