June 24th, 2014 USS Enterprise is calling

On the afternoon of the 24th, storms began to fire early in the afternoon along the I-35 corridor which was perfect for me to get into position along County road 123 in Osage County.  The storms were pretty intense setting up for some killer shots.  The highlight of the day was noticing the storm structure of the northern cell which to me looked like the USS Enterprise D from Star Trek the next generation.  Great day.

June 6th, 2014 Hometown tornadic chase

Again on the evening of June 6th, we were treated to more pulse time storms that fired over the area in response to a stationary front draped over the area.  Great night for lightning, something I was lacking for the season so far, but to add, one of them had some serious rotation southeast of Romona near Oologah, Oklahoma.  See the second to last image for the storm structure.

June 5th 2014 Summer pulse storms

Not a real big event, which goes without saying for 2014, but I got out enough to capture these images of pulse storms that fired later in the day.
